Who is exempt from the Schengen visa fee?
- Children under 6 years old (also exempt from the BLS service charge)
- School pupils, students, postgraduate students and accompanying teachers travelling for study or educational training
- Researchers travelling for scientific research or to participate in seminars/conferences (per Council Directive (EU) 2016/801)
- Representatives of non-profit organisations aged 25 or under attending seminars, conferences, sporting, cultural or educational events
- Family members of EEA/EU citizens (spouses and children below 21)
